CHERRY HILL, NJ -- Our Community Salutes (OCS), along with support from United Services Automobile Association (USAA), has announced America Salutes 2021, OCS’s second annual, star-studded tribute on May 4 to honor our nation’s Class of 2021 high school senior enlistees and their parents.

“USAA and OCS have worked together since its first High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony in 2009, and we are honored to have their support of America Salutes to celebrate the Class of 2021,” said Dr. Kenneth Hartman, former U.S. Army officer and founder and president of Our Community Salutes.

America Salutes 2021 will be hosted by John Huertas, who plays Miguel in the hit NBC Show “This is Us.” It also will feature and senior military leaders from all services, along with musical performances and a short “thank you” video messages featuring several celebrities, including NBC Sports broadcast Kathyn Tappen, Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine, MSU Coach Tom Izzo, and service members, including a current U.S. astronaut aboard the International Space Station.

“USAA is proud to continue our decade-long support for Our Community Salutes and to celebrate the 2021 Class,” said VADM (ret) John Bird, senior vice president of Military Affairs at USAA. “This class of young service members are entering into admirable service to our country and we are honored to be by their side.”

OCS is the only national non-profit organization to recognize and honor high school seniors and their parents who plan to enlist in the military immediately after high school graduation. Since 2009, OCS has honored tens of thousands of high school seniors, at more than 300 ceremonies across the country.
